The difference between instantaneous self-reset and locking self-locking:
Momentary (SELF-RESET)

Operation: The circuit is only completed while the button is pressed. It automatically returns to its original position and breaks the circuit once released.

Key Feature: Provides temporary, instant activation. Ideal for short-term signals or commands.

Common Use: Car horns, doorbells, reset buttons, testing equipment.

Latching (SELF-LOCKING)

Operation: The switch changes state with each press. The first press turns it ON and locks the state; the second press turns it OFF and returns it to the original state.

Key Feature: The switch maintains its ON or OFF state without needing constant pressure, perfect for toggling functions.

Common Use: Power on/off switches, light switches, device control.
Wiring Instructions
Understanding the Terminals: C, NO, NC

C (Common): This is the central and most important terminal. It is the common input point for the electrical current.

NO (Normally Open): This terminal is disconnected from the Common (C) when the button is not pressed. When you press the button, it connects to C, completing the circuit. (Used for "ON" operation in momentary mode).

NC (Normally Closed): This terminal is connected to the Common (C) when the button is not pressed. When you press the button, it disconnects from C, breaking the circuit. (Used for "OFF" or stop signals).

Polarity Notice (Important!)
This is a simple switch and LED module. There are no positive/negative electrodes (polarity) to distinguish for the switch terminals (C, NO, NC). You can wire them according to your circuit needs.

However, the built-in LED light does have polarity. It is pre-wired internally to work correctly. You only need to connect the external switch terminals without worrying about the LED's polarity.
